Have we all forgotten why we joined eGO?

Really guys, really? why are we still arguing about something that happened over a month ago that we all had fun doing whether we won or lost. I just think we all need to think a little about why we joined this group, to have fun. It was never about prizes or winning or something stupid like that is was always about just having a group of people we could jump on the computer with and play a game or a match with. So just remember we joined to have a good time playing with some good people.

I joined this community for the mature gaming environment, where i can game without being judged by my performance,
I will admit not to long ago i lost track of that and started treating people badly, which to this day i am deeply sorry for, thanks to some friendly conversation with a member of the leadership i got back on track

My point here is: Don't make the same mistake i did, don't let prizes, matches won/lost or rank get ahead of your friendship with the great people in eGO

I will share a piece of advice the leadership member shared with me
"Be the same person you were when you first got accepted into eGO"

If someone has won something in a contest it is their right to claim that prize, that has nothing to do with the spirit of eGO. We run contest for that purpose.

I understand where you are coming from Frostyy. I was wondering where my prize was as well but I just didn't care that much about it. The reason I started this thread was just because it was making me upset as I was reading the continuing argument on the 8v8 thread. The simple point I was trying to make was just that we all joined to have a good group of people to play with and have fun.

I agree...The main reason I joined eGO in the first place, was how they ran their servers, PUNK FREE!

After I joined and started meeting people within the BC2 Division (that was the original div name), I had a lot of fun and it was nice to game with a group of people who shared the same interest.

I am in the same boat here guys! I like to get on the rig and Rock out with a good group of guys or Gals while shooting Stuff. The prizes that are being offered are not to get us to play....there for those that want to win them. Remember Gents....the contest is for both Games BF3 and BC2.
In other words " Go Play some Battlefield " and have fun.
