With almost a third of our regular season in the books, it's time for a quick update folks!
Here are the standings heading into Week 5:
Quest for perfection
Buoyed by the outstanding play of Matty Ice, Jimmy Graham, and Wes Welker, zer0 (a.k.a. Seabiscuit) remains the sole unbeaten team, lording over the Donner division. In what purports to be a clash of the titans however, they find themselves in a matchup against Silent Drifter's #2-ranked team this week.
Quest for imperfection
On the other end of the spectrum is Fluxion's 0-4 team, due to slow starts to the season for MJD, Nicks, and to some extent, Trent Richardson. Also a big factor is the fact that Fluxion has been somewhat unfortunate, suffering from the league's 2nd-highest points scored against them.
No way out but down
Sinking ship candidates include Matzwhat and Skippy -- after winning their season openers they have both now slumped to 3 defeats in a row.
Never say die
Even after missing the draft and having to work with a makeshift team, Wewo has hung in there admirably, and is only 2 games back from their division leader.
Unwavering loyalty
Bay Area has been the only team in the league that has not picked up any new players from the free agent pool (as of the time of this writing), and has compiled an admirable 2-2 record in the process.
Advisor FF h@x?
The top FF player in our league is currently Peyton Manning, and it's not even close, as he sits almost 40 points away from his nearest rival, Drew Brees. It should thus be no surprise that Peyton is owned by Q-tip, who took him with the 1st overall pick in our draft without even blinking. Still, even with Peyton's 70.4 points in Week 1 alone, Q-tip is lucky to be sitting at 2-2 as they barely scraped out a win in week one over Fluxion, winning by a mere 0.6 points.
