Not seeing GameME frees you to be ok with doing more stupid random FUN stuff sometimes

At first i was caring about it, then i stop. The reason being is that I never get killed that easily anymore.

So today was fun.

I played on Hightower, gained about 200

I played on Harvest, lost about 400

Then I had a killer round in Dustbowl, gained 500.

Ended up with a solid 2.0 K/D with 400 kills.

So really, it's just a gauge for how good you're doing. For me, it's a motivation to play better and be more helpful for the team. I've lost 889 one day and gained 1318 another. I don't let it bother me (much).

Meh, I was rising up fast, but at the moment, I'm actually losing points right now because dieing to someone above me takes away too many points.

I think what I like most about gameME stats at the moment is the ribbons. Getting the most kills with X or Y weapon each day is kind of fun. Gives you a goal other than going on a normal murder spree. Points are lovely and everything, and I do dislike losing them, but recently when I've played I've found myself playing with more uncommon weapons to try to rack kills for ribbons! It's fun!

I enjoy GameMe. It give me goals to achieve and continue to improve myself. My goal is to reach the #1 position as a battle engie. I have a long way's ahead of me as I just don't have the natural killing power a Solider or Demo has in getting kills. But I track my K/D and always try to average a 2/1 or better each day.

If I get frustrated I go heavy or demo and earn back those sweet, sweet gameMe points.
In all seriousness, I have noticed that when I start dying a lot or getting in over my head, I'll hit that tab button and realized we have far too many spies or snipers or even a few idle players.

This is a team game, and your tf2 performance isn't in a vacuum. If your team is intractable or just plain dumb (sorry to sound mean, but it happens), find another server or even switch teams. I take great (if perverse) pleasure in team switching to immolate the 6 failspies that refused to switch.

Perfect example: Today, I joined Dustbowl and started playing. After a while, I noticed the other tean was basically nothing, so I switched. I tried pretty much every class and then ragequit.
Just how bad the team was: 2 ppl had REAL hats ( a gibus don't count )
5 fail spies
No spy checking at ALL
NO ENGIS
And, basically, we were creamed

Aye, that is exactly what I love to do. I try to fix the incredible imbalance, but sometimes its sooo impossible!! But then I remember.....Kittens and everything is OK. So I think if GameME bothers you occasionally, you should just think about kittens occasionally as well.

Used to be in the top 10. Currently I'm rank 53 as I branch out and play other classes more often. Not taking it personally.

I didn't used to care about it. I used to play suicidal M1 pyro on dustbowl every day. Think I had kill per death .88. Then I made it a goal to start climbing and it pushed me to improve and work on other classes.

If it takes away from your fun, vanish it. If not, push yourself to change your playing style/classes to improve.

Don't worry about them, don't really care for them. Games are competitive enough.

Usually, my deaths are more important than my kills, so I don't really care about my rankings.



On one hand I'm number one in mantreads kills on eGO rankings.
On the other hand, I'm one of the top death streaks.


Who cares, shame doesn't kill.

To sum it up, don't make it a fuss, just have fun.
