F10 Jokes

[Mostly Harmless]

This has been a REAL big problem on the DoD side and Ive seen it in TF2 a few times. I dont find the humor in it AT ALL. Espically when the game just came out and a majority of the people playing are new not just to the game but new to steam as well.

(For those who dont know pushing F10 while in game will exit you from the game.)

A few of our e members find this funny, I however do not. If a pub does it, warn then take action. e members should earn themselves a 1 day ban in my opinion. we expect more from our e members and shouldnt be overlooking things due to the fact that we are short on admins. Im sorry if I sound Harsh but The F10 thing really gets under my skin, just like when people get racist on the servers.

Be helpful!!! When someone says " Hey I just got the game any tips for a noob?" Help them. Answer questions, Give advice, Thats what were here for. Not to say " Push F10 for any tips" God that makes me angry GRRRRRRRRRR. Anyway I vented. Comment please

I agree, its not funny at all. I sometimes wait in the cue for a long time to get into the ego servers, would hate to get in then get tricked into exiting the game, just to wait again.

dude, i ham with you 100 percent. I have ZERO tolerance for this. I once fell for it myself ( a few times in fact) and do not put up with this crap.

Take the steam id so if someone does quit because of it, they get perm banned

eGO dod side this has been fixed for a while by using f10 and f4 in the fowl language list. It will be added to the TF2 servers soon.

I agree it's not funny and certainly not something I would expect eGO to do or condone. I was glad it was taken care of the other day when I saw it happen. I'm glad to know there is a way to fix it.

It's not so much about the game. It's about the people in the servers, we don't need punks in there. Plus, it's an annoyance to everyone, whether it is being directed to you or not.
