(Event) eGO Summer kick off with the PSC!

The PSC is having a summer kick off. What is the summer kick off you ask?
It is a long list of events for the whole week with every division in eGO,
and the BF division is partnering up with the PSC with a new event!

Time
Monday, June 24th @ 6:00PM PST


Objective:
The Mortar 1/4 mile is a set track/path where 1 person at a time runs this 1/4 mile while being bombarded by mortar.
Every person has a total of 3 tries to make it, those who dont make it
are out and can keep mortaring for the duration of the event.
Those who do make it, keep advancing.
The last three to survive run a new 1/4 track at the same time.
First person to make it the farthest or complete the 1/4 mile first, WINS!

Standard eGO Rules apply: No Exploiting, No Attacking/Entering Uncaps, and No going out of bounds for any reason

Health Regeneration: OFF
Killcam: ON

3D Spotting: OFF
Tickets:100
All unlocks: Enabled
Bullet Damage: 100

Umm...Im pretty sure this a typo.

Battlefield 2 : Recruiting invasion night
 
I have a different idea. Why don't we have 1 runner take a flag and see if he can get back to base and cap it before he is shelled to death. You can always see a flag moving on the map and with 20+ mortars firing.. you really don't need the person to run a specific track.

Can't you see it? Some recon soldier with the flag running through the hills as the world around him erupts in explosions. Bits of trees and dirt flying everywhere as this poor sucker reaches out to cap the flag.. only to have a mortar land at his feet and send his dead body airbourne. And imagine if you did actually cap that flag. 20+ mortars firing and you ran it back, on foot, for the win. That is achievement unlocked! That would deserve an award. That is an event worth remembering.

Running on a track with 20+ mortars firing at you and knowing exactly where you are and will go next... that is nothing less than pure luck. So advice to those who want to attempt something like this. Make sure you go first. That way the mortar crews wont be properly warmed up yet and it will give you a better chance. Because by the time the last few people are ready to run this thing.. the mortar crews will have their timing down and be working more as a team with some people hitting behind you while others hit in front of you to cover all possibilities. But lets be honest.. you probably wont survive the first volley. :P

It be nice to have a pistol only round for us losers who suck at B3 and to give us a chance to make it to victory. LOL.

Thank you very much for hosting this, it was a blast! "Well technically his body made it over the finish line." haha
I still think we should do EOD Hide & Seek (or duels)
~both teams find a spot on the map (accessible) and basically count down and everyone goes and tries to kill the enemy EOD operators.
