A solid brand (EVGA) 660 Ti or a lower brand (MSI, XFX) 770 both run around that ballpark.

At this price point you're looking at a 670 on the Nvidia side or a 7950, maybe even a 7970 on sale or if you're willing to push your budget up a little bit on the AMD side.
I would definitely go for the AMD atm.

Considering the 7950 and 770 have comparable performance, I don't think an AMD fanboy should say as much.

7950 price: $305
670 price: $350
The performance is arguable, but for $45 less it's no contest. If I was an AMD fanboy I wouldn't have even mentioned the other option.
Oh yeah plus it comes with the never settle bundle - Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragons, Crysis 3, and Bioshock infinite - for free.
The 670 comes with just 1 game - Metro: Last Light
