i pick forrest gump because it tells about major us events in our recent history.
plus the soundtrack is awsome with fleetwood mac,lynyrd skynrd,etc.

SPR because when you crank up the surround sound it feels like your on the beach!

Yea, SPR was good but i like Forrest Gump better it had a mix of drama and slight humor. But i would also add Terminal, very heartfelt moving story(now i sound like a chick flick wathcer )

I'm going to say Green Mile. It's not my favorite Hanks movie, but the fact that Jackson cranks off 7-8 rounds with a Springfield in the bell tower just REALLY bugs me.
