no, yeah thats basically what i meant. created by the same people right? i mean MS guys didnt become smarter overnight did they?
the 1st time i had vista it was so bad (half my games didnt work and niether did ms things like picture it!) that i manually reinstalled xp. just reformatted the sucker. evil evil vista. after SP1 it got marginally better. still some things dont work - like scarface the world is yours. and some things work like they're on valium, like simpsons' hit & run.

Sure they didn't get smarter over night. They are just making Windows 7 everything that Vista wasn't. You don't need to get smarter to fix something that you already have a solution to. Windows 7 takes up less space, look nicer, and use less resources. Microsoft basically admitted defeat defeat with Vista when making Windows 7. I have Vista and there's nothing wrong with it, the only bad thing about it is people who have never tried it and spread the word of how "horrible" it is. Most programs have been upgraded to run on Vista and the same will apply to Win7. After SP1 for Vista, I have not had ANY problems. Most people that had bad first impressions either had older components which driver's weren't upgraded right away so people just chucked it out and called it bad without waiting for updates. Every OS had a problem right away and must be adapted to things. So like I said, they basically are fixing errors some may have with Vista, making it nicer looking, less of a resource hog, updating there programs that come with it (Like Calculator, Wordpad, Paint and such. Which now have nicer new features) and making nicer and newer features that draw people in. And think of it this way, its another way for Microsoft to make an extra buck. Most people will see Windows 7, buy it thinking "Well, it must be better than Vista. It being new and all" and in the process giving it a better rep than Vista.

I hate to burst your guys bubble but its pretty obvious you have no clue what youre talking about. Sure it LOOKS similar to vista but the computations and resource management and programs and processes are so much improved over vista tenfold.
Dont judge it by the way it looks, it uses less resources, runs smoother, and improved on every aspect. Try using it.
On a side note, i have no sympathy for any dirt broke people out there without jobs who bought vista and then complained that it would not work on their five year old computer thus calling it a horrible OS. Vista has a set of recommended system requirements and this go around people were too dull to read them i guess.
Theres a big difference between vista being a bad operating system and it being too much of an OS for your computer.
and please dont tell me it doesnt do what you want or its too hard to use. Settings for vista were "dumbed down" if you will, from XP. And vista is much more compatible than any apple OS or linux. Probably not as compatible as XP but hey, thats why you have both installed of different partitions. Its called dual boot people.

and btw the ONLY problem I had with vista was my dad's epson printer at home not having drivers for 64-bit. everything else works fine for two years now
