That, my friend, is a very long answer.

Found the wallpaper on Deviantart. Not sure where.

The dock at the bottom is a program called Rocketdock. It is the single greatest program. Ever. The dock skin I'm using is one of the default ones. I'm not sure which specifically, I'm not at home. 80% opacity, iirc. Various seperators in between for distance.

The icons I'm using can be found here. I had to use GIMP to make the icons for Steam and TF2, along with a couple others.

And then I use Desktop Coral So that even when a window is maximized, that bar still stays at the bottom without being covered up.


As for the start menu, it's a custom theme found here. I had to hack my uxthemes.dll file. I'm not explaining it, since it's illegal. >>;


That desktop is three days worth of work.

I've changed things a bit. I disabled emergeLauncher and emergeTask. I installed Object Dock for my tasks. I took all those icons and added them to the middle mouse button menu. I spent about an hour or so making a different samurize config.

You probably won't notice everything right off. In the top right corner there's some buttons that control Foobar/Winamp. At the bottom left corner, there's a search box that uses google. At the bottom right there's a box for commands, like the run box. Everything is in alpha fade, either 50 or 20. If you haven't noticed, I'm a huge fan of minimalism.
