I name comes from an old Might and Magic game. There was a Minotaur Lord names Balthazar who I admired, but I didn't like that way it was spelled. So I changed it to Balthizar and started using it ever since.

One late night in 2006 I had opened a bad can of tuna. It changed my life. I started developing split personality disorders left and right. That my friends was a bad can of tuna. Hours of roaming the desert looking for a place to bury myself I found a Captain America action figure. It saved my sanity. (sort of, I mean I'm talking about tuna right?) So that's one part of the name. Battlefield the second part was chosen because of the conflicting thoughts I have on a daily basis. So in a sense I guess you can say I have a Battlefield going on in my head.

Anyways, when I first got my own steam account after watching my dad play DoD:S, Half Life 2, Dear Esther and more on the PC for years, he got me DoD:S as my first game when I was 8 years old. It was around that time I started really loving gerbils (My first gerbil was named Ginger and a pic of her was my profile pic for steam for about 4 years) so I named myself cutegerbil. About 6 months ago I just decided to shorten it to Gerbil. I also use names such as: Col. Popcorn and Capt. CG
