LEGO Movie

[Fraurrix]

I feel this movie is looong overdue. I was actually pretty surprised at the trailer, not only does it look pretty damn entertaining it does a great job at inducing childhood nostalgia. Not to mention they have some awesome actors for this.

Not gonna lie, I'm going to agree with you that it looks entertaining.

Part of me is happy since a lot of the Lego games have been awesome.

Then another part of me remembers the track record with my childhood's media/toy stars and movies lately and cringes...

Also, the heck is up with the nearly stop-motion animation? It's a CGI movie, do they really need to try to make it look as if some group of Lego enthusiasts made it too?

I am excited!!

I'm sorry if i sound cynical here. But it looks like a low budget stop motion movie, and i wasn't impressed by the ad i saw on youtube earlier today, the lip synching is a little off and motions look wierd

That being said there is a part of me that really want to see this movie since i used to be a huge fan of legos when i was a kid

So eventhough i got a bad first impression i might go see it
