I was wondering if anyone knew a good game recorder that can be ran with Mac. P-rec is windows only, and using the built in recording function is kind of sloppy. Anyone know one? Thanks!

All P-Rec does anyway is record a demo. Which isn't difficult at all. Just type record in console with the name of the demo and type stop when you want to stop recording.

OS X has Quicktime already which has a screen recording option on it.

Seriously though just record a demo. Less of a hassle. Won't lag the crap out of your game. You can render demos into video files later.

Ewwww Mac the only time I want anyone to say Mac is if it is a prefix for Mcdonalds food

What the hell do people have against Macs? It's not a bad system, OS X is a hell of a lot better than Windows 8 at least. It runs smooth, no risk of viruses, malware, etc. And it's not as if Macs can't play anything.

Now lets not stray off topic.

Kyle, recording a demo is easy for getting small moments in your game, but if you are recording footage for a video your making or something similar, Quicktime has this feature like Goz said. Just open QuickTime, then under one of the menu dialogs there is a start recording option.

Kind of sounds like he's just messing with you, Goz. :P

Anyway, on topic, fraps is your best bet if you don't feel like just recording a demo (which is probably what would work best)

I will try out Quicktime, and if it lags my game, then I will record a demo. Thanks Goz!

As I said earlier, fraps is sadly only for windows. :P

The only reason why mac's doesn't get virus is that people don't make viruses for mac's.

Geez, get a real computer, who uses Mac, I thought the world was already using Debian.

Why not use Dxtroy one of the tech guys suggested it to me and it woeks wonders. I dont know if its usable for Mac bur you can try.
