So, in preparation for Dota 2's full release later this summer, we're going start hosting some events in the next couple of weeks. If you haven't already, make sure to join the eGO Dota 2 Steam group. Details will be posted there and on this forum. The first few events will be fun and designed to get people in eGO playing together. They will include Capture the Flag, Saxton Hale, All Mid and Reverse Captain's Mode (that's all I can think of for now). If you have any other fun ideas, feel free to PM me. The events will start (tentatively) on the weekend of July 12. Further details will come about shortly. Thanks.

I'm not a part of this division, but I love Dota 2 and would be down for these events for sure!!

so down

A few of us DoD:S fellas have been playing the crap out of Dota2 mostly against bots due to most of us being teh noobs. We're pretty addicted. Glad to see some more activity on the horizon.

I still don't see the point in playing these alternative game types that are unbalanced at best and practically broken at worst. They are "fun" in that they are "whacky" but not in that you actually have much fun playing them, and I suspect that's why our events never took off in the first place. Too much "fun" and not enough Dota 2.

The games have been fun; almost everyone enjoyed them last time.

Don't worry, we'll play some real Dota as well.

It's okay if you're not that good. Our events try to take skill level into account. They're about having fun! :)

Legit bump.

What the point of bumping? This forum isn't exactly active.

Also, if you want something to stay at the top of the forum, can't you just bump it?

Also, when will these events start?

Oh, and I haven't seen you or Ayako on lately, only played a couple of games with you guys in the passed few months :/

Bleh, I won't be able to make the event tonight due to a forgotten concert commitment, sorry peeps. I'll be on for tomorrow, though!
