Clan tags in BF3

Hey guys, I'm new to the clan. I do play on our server quite often, but I do have one question, how do I add my ego tag to my name? Thanks!

If im not mistaken you just add the e, and when you get your g you just add the G.

So in conclusion just put a e

Once you have battlelog open, in the middle right hand side is your profile picture. Hover over it and click edit profile. When that pops up, you should see an area to enter your clan tag.

Battlelog only gives you 5 characters max, so all you need to enter is your current rank, so for you, just put an e

I've read an awesome guide on how to get promoted, but I can't find it. Anyways, i'll give you a summary:

1. Be active on the forums.
2. Act mature.
3. Attend events
4. Be active on Ventrilo
5. Be active in-game, and try to fill up empty servers
6. Recruit members
7. Bake cakes for leadership

I'm not saying do all of these above, but these are basically the most popular ways to get noticed and then promoted.

Yes, leadership LOVES cakes!!!! ......and beer!!!

All jokes aside, this list is pretty spot on.

Another thing I can add to it, is if youre in our servers and you see people breaking rules,etc. And there are no other admins on, youre the first line of defense. Warn people, but be polite.

If things are still going sour, see if you can find someone in vent to help you out. You can always add me on steam and Origin / battlelog in case you need assistance.

What I am about to tell you... is the secret to rapid promotion.

Join TF2 or Minecraft Division. They promote the fastest. If not execute the following steps. (This part was a joke)

A: Join Ventrillo and talk to people in your division. It will humanize you and strengthen your bond with the community.
B: Have conversations with certain advisors so they know who you are. Make sure the conversations are positive and leave you in a good light. You know.. pay attention to what they are saying and laugh at their horrible jokes. Don't worry... once you are eGO you can ignore this step.
C: Be active on the servers and set a positive example. Someone pisses you off in game.. just go in a Rated R room and express your rage. We'll all gang up on the person and Defib or repair tool them.
D: (And this is the most important) Do not talk to or read anything Hexi has posted.
