Empty; in steam goto Tools, then Source SDK

What is Source SDK Base? Whats the difference?

I'm not actually sure what the base is. =X All it does for me when I click on it is it loads up Lost Coast. >_>

Im guessing that with the release of the ornage box, its unlocking content from Ep2 and TF2 to be used by the hammer and poser. This means that you can create new maps and do custom posing of like peoples faces and such if you are going to be making a movie.

it stands for source development (developing) kit. You can make all types of maps for HL2 TF2, Portal, and HL2 E1 and HL2 E2
