PS4 Greatness

Playstation 4 will be the next greatest console in 2013-2014. It is suppose to come out December 31st. They will have many games launching for PS4 alongside with it.
Yes, I will be getting this console as soon as it comes out by pre-ordering it. 399.99 is a great price for what AWESOME thing come with it. Im currently saving up for it but im definitely going to have it.

I will probably post changes to this thread having new news on the PS4 and its games.

Upgrade your PC, a better investment. For example, PC game sales are WAY cheaper than console sales.

MGS5 and Ground Zeroes are coming out on PS3, so there is effectively no reason for me to invest in next gen now, unless the new SSB is awesome, then I will get a WiiU.

Oh, I guess not. At least, not always. And definitely not WAY cheaper as you implied.

Yes, really, and it's easy to trump that argument with one word: Steam. Not to mention sites like Amazon, Greenman and GOG tend to have several amazing PC sales every other week.

That's all that has to be said. Consoles might have the occasional decent sale, but there's a reason why he mentioned PC games having cheaper games: dem sales, man.

I'd only bother getting a PS4 if you're interested in the exclusives; it's a better choice than the Xbox Woe-is-me, but otherwise, I'd invest in PC upgrades to play the latest and greatest games at the best settings instead.

I've already set aside my money for pc upgrades. These next gen consoles are a huge let down

They're still not use anti-aliasing it seems. That alone makes me not want it. The hardware is already outdated too. Hopefully it can play a Youtube video decently, unlike the PS3.

I do enjoy my ps3. Some games just feel better on consol. However I feel like you get more performance and way better customer service from game platforms like steam and battle.net on the PC, 64 player maps vs only being able to play 32 is one of the reasons I don't play consol bf3.

I've never been that person that has to have the newest playstation the first day, but ps4 is looking very promising and I look forward to using it once someone I know buys it.
