Clan Spray Logo

Any thoughts on someone creating a Clan Spray Logo and making it available for download in the download section? It is also a good way of getting the download section up and running. You can also make available for download the tools needed to create your own and submit them to the download section etc etc.

I'm not home, so I can't test the VTF I made that into- but it should be fine.

Why not use the dog tags? They'd make great sprays, methinks.

Would be a really simple convert to spray. Might need to tweak the "Edge Gamers Organization" to make it readable in game though.

Heck, could animate the spray and make it flip between the blue and the red ones.

Actually, after toying with it, it will have to be one or the other. Since you cannot control timing in spray animations the "duplicate frame" technique has to be used to simulate delay to keep the animation from being epileptic fast. Unfortunately since the two images are so drastically different it doesn't compress well and we'd have to go with 128x128 or 64x64 to get under 128kb and the words stop being readable.

Might be fun for road trips too. Think about it, a dozen heavies rush your base in 2fort, take your intel, and leave a ton of =eGO= sprays in the intel room... If that's not fun, then what is?

I would think that maybe someone from the council would be the best contact with that but if you don't mind taking the time, email me whatever you make ( [email protected] ) and I will start using the tag to help promote it as well.

From my point of view, when i used to run my own servers i didn't allow recruiting on my servers, how would our clan feel if one of our exempliary competitors came on to our servers and started spraying clan tags all over the walls, Recruiting or Not? i'm all for it but i also don't want to degrate the clans moral values, i would recommend getting an overt opinion from council before proceeding with this...

It got a thumbs up from GGVW over in another thread. Not specifically the spraying on road trips, which I don't generally think is a good idea myself, but the clan sprays idea in general. A lot of people don't have their own custom sprays and this would give people too shy/lazy to ask for one to have something.

Yea, i agree 100% but lets be extra careful about abiding by the rules of other clans, and not showing disrespect to there rules by spraying clan memorabelia on the walls, i don't want to spread a bad image of Edge Gamers Organization... thats all...
