New Gaming Mouse and Keyboard

Hey guys I just ordered the Corsair Vengeance K70 keyboard and M65 mouse they are going to be shipped soon, so when I get them I will post a review but so far what I've heard they are AWESOME!! Both are made specifically for FPS games. Can't wait for them to arrive. I'm expecting a decent improvement in my performance. Here are the links: Mouse Keyboard
 
keyboard is just like mine. I use the Microsoft Sidewinder X4 Review (Backlit Keyboard)
The only thing I dislike about it is the keys paint / coating rubs off during heavy game play. I've had it for about 15 months and I've lost W, S, LShift, and A, D are starting to go. So if you could put some kind of cover over them I would recommend.. As for the mouse how much did you pay roughly after S&H?

I paid about $70 for the mouse. The keyboard has rubberized W, A, S, D,1,2,3,4,5,6 keys that are countered and textured to better know where they are.

mh .. trying to think right now if I ever had to look at my keyboard while gaming .... ohhhm ... nope .. so who needs writing on dem buttons .. I know what to press ;)

All my keyboards have to be backlit :P No exceptions.
But my keyboard is some Logitech illuminated keyboard i picked up cheap. Low profile keyboards FTW!!!1!111!!
 
Anyone here got a thermaltake meka g-unit keyboard? They're pretty nice, but people dont seem to go for them. Underrated mechanical keyboard, imo.
 
After playin all these years with a 2 dollar mouse I just bought me at Walmart this crazy lookin thing :D

and I must say : DAAAMN BOY .. what hav I been missing out on lol ... 2 extra buttons for my fat thumb to knife and sprint ? !!?! lol .. and it glides so easy with this

and on top of that it has this control panel with all kind of funny functions

and all of that for only 60 bucks plus 7 dollar 2 year warranty exchange plan :D

Played with it since the last 3 1/2 hours trying out all kinds of kinky settings ..

I really getting old ... thought my good old 2 dollar "STOCK DELL" mouse would do it .. lol

Backlights are a huge thing for me as well, I do most gaming, schoolwork, and writing at night, so being able to see the keys is a major convenience for me. Plus, during the daytime it looks fabulous! On top of that my keyboard has a neat little display for showing FRAPS FPS chart, Ventrilo info, or media players.

I use the Logitech G510 keyboard and CM Storm Sentinel Z3RO-G mouse. Only complaint is that the finish came off the mouse very quickly, and it's a bit of a sight in its current condition; however, it works very well and still looks pretty nice...has that war-torn look going from all the knifing! :P

I find shift to sufficient for me.
I have older deathadder and I use knife and nade for that.
 
If you're good enough at using a keyboard you shouldn't need backlit. I type with a 109 WPM and I find that I tend to be able to just "feel" the keys at night.
