Hey, I'm super new to this game, Havn't even installed it yet, thats how new. Does anyone have any tips or tricks I should know about or utilize.

I want to play but I know nothing, teach me oh wise gamers:blink:

find me in vent, i can show you some basics, and play some games against bots with you.

Hit minions before they die and get free gold to buy items. Stay away from the towers unless minions are there to help. Kill other champions but don't try to all the time. There is Attack Damage and Ability Power. Read your hero's skills to see if you are supposed to build Ability power or Attack Damage. Most ranged people with either guns or bows build AD while other more magey looking ones build AP. Some people stay in the jungle.

There are 2 solo lanes and one double champion bot lane. (In lower levels you might see two top as well).

feel free to add me in game, i'd be happy to teach u everything i know.

thanks for the advice, I'll do everything u guys said starting with youtube, I'm still downloading the game, updates seem to be wigging out on me and crashing I keep having to restart -.-

but its all good :)

If you're new to the game i would recommend playing Garen
He can take a lot of damage and kill people easily with judgement and with his ult.

Heres how i usually build him
Cloth armor, chain mail, sunfire cape, serpent (Can't remember the entire name), wardens mail, B.F swor, bloodthirster

With this build Garen becomes a lean mean killing machine :p

On mastries make sure to building him as tanky as possible by increasing armor, health and heatlh regain pet second

I would also recommend playing players vs ai before jumping on the pvp train as people there are awfully judgemental and will start rant if you're not doing well

If you're on vent tonight come speak to me and I'll tell you more. :)

play a LOT of co-op vrs. AI games until you can easily kick their butts.

Pick ONE champion to MAIN and play all the time for the first 15-20 levels. afterwards once comfortable try new champs for different lanes of play so you can be more diverse.

DON'T buy runes until level 20. even then only buy runes that are Tier 3 and for the champs you want to play.

Don't bother with skins unless you have money and play the champion a lot to warrant it.

I usually buy champs with IP that are 3150 or less. sometimes 4800 if i can save up. the 6300 one's i buy with RP rarely, but i still do at times. unless i can save for them.

He's trying to master Garen right now I think
Master yi isn't a champion I'd recommend to someone brand new

I started off with Master Yi, getting a lot of kills. However, I realise that isn't the way to go so I switched to Teemo and build AD for that.

If you need, we can play sometimes together Duelpwn :)

never buy the rank 1 or rank 2 runes..seriously..save up for rank 3's..you'll be happy you did

Memorise correct builds and mastries.

A champion who has neither of those will fall behind quickly and will be the victim of mass ganks

To find complete guides on how to build each champion do a google search for the name of the champion
You're trying to learn followed by build, for example "ashe build". The top linl when searching for this information is always the best one.
I personally like to do a few custom games when i try new champion. As there's no one to complain if you don't instantly get a good round. When you're brand new to playing a champion magic champions make the best enemy, when you're getting better add a few melee champions

Hope this helps
