I'm a huge game of thrones fan, I love the show, the books and everything about them I haven't read a book this good in a while. I'm currently on Dance with Dragons.

I started watching the show first, but after the first season I just had to know and started reading all the books. I'm creating this little discussion to see how many other ego members love game of thrones. Theres so many different characters and stories going on.

Try to keep Spoilers to a minimum people and I mean spoilers from the books if you haven't seen all the episodes I recommend you get on that instead of being here.

So my questions are...

Who are your favorite characters?
Tyrion Lannister, The Hound, Jon Snow

Whats your Favorite house?

House Targaryen, House Stark and House Martell

Favorite Moment?
Everytime Jeoffry gets bitchslapped

alright lets here em :thumbup1:

I'm an avid reader of the books and yes I have HBO for the sole purpose of watching Game of Thrones.

Tyrion of coarse is a great character. He has the best quotes "All dwarfs are bastards...in their fathers eye's" being one of my favorites.

the Hound again a good pick. Was there a kiss? A lopsided one even? Is he a dog? Or a wolf in waiting? Would a yellow wolf even make a good sigil?

Jon Snow is an easy pick. How many of us feel the outcast and yet strive to be more. Maybe in the old tongue Stark means snow?

Arya is very interesting, and tho most of Sansa's action have proven her to be fickle I think there can be something there one day to rival Cersei. Its a ways off but I think she'll get there.

Then I'd move to Gendry. The man can make metal sing. I also like how he is so not in control of his destiny. I guess I like him more for his potential than anything that's actually happened.

I have a theory about wargs and dragons but its early yet. We'll have to wait and see.

Either/ or the story is certainly compelling. Its a mixture of historical and fantasy fiction done in such a way that seems real and yet oddly off. Very well done at points and I am dying to get to see how it turns out. And it's so very true....
