Please Help!!!

I quit CoD 4 a while back because of this but I wanted to try again and I really need someone to tell me what to do because I have tried everything I can think of.

Whenever I join a game, about 30 seconds in, I get kicked out and I get this message, "Acatalepsy PunkBuster kicked player 'Acatalepsy' [for 2 minutes] ... Violation [AIMBOT] #50721"

I assure you, I do not hack nor have I ever and I am really confused as to why this is happening and I have no clue how to stop it or find a way around.

Someone please help!

I don't own or play COD 4, but based on the information you have provided I am guessing you need punkbuster. Do you have that installed?

I mean my first guess is either install punkbuster or stop using Aimbot

If you already have it I don't know, maybe someone more COD savvy can come help!

Yea I have it. I even tried reinstalling it but that didn't help. I tried searching up if I got banned but it doesn't show that I have been. URGH!!!!

You need to contact Punkbuster, try to overturn the ban record. It's possible that your GUID has been used by an aimbotter and that is why you cannot play the game. Either way, it registers that you have an aimbot installed on your computer, or the GUID you are using has been banned on record.

P.S. You should have posted this in the CoD division discussion forums, not general.

This message shows up after you've been banned from punkbuster for hacking.

You're actively banned, thus you'll get kicked out of every server within 30 seconds.

Buy a new serial and don't hack or challenge the ban with punkbuster.

Those are your only two options.

Well I can tell you this much

Punkbuster doesn't ban people on accident, nor do they ban ban innocent players
It's clear someone has used your GUID to hack

I can't remember which one it is right now

Furthermore I would advice you to speak to your divisional leadership about this

You really have no choice. You can either try to contest it with Punkbuster, or just buy a new CD. Either way, the GUID you're trying to use has been permanently banned, and unless it's overturned, you're not going to be playing Call of Duty with it any time soon (or ever).
