Making a SIG... Help!

-Get PhotoShop CS2/CS3
-Choose a Picture You want as background
-Open the picture up in photoshop
-Click File> New
-A new window will pop up
-Name it wat ever you want to name it
-Present is Custom
-Size dont touch it
-Width 19.19 cm
-Height 5.36 cm
-Resolution 72 pixle/inch
-Color Mode RGB 8 bits
-Background contents white
-Now you'll have 2 little windows
-On the left sidebar on top there's a little cusor/pointer click that
-Click on the photo which has the background
-Drag it to the smaller rectangular box that u just made
-Click the image now in the small box and push CRT+T
-Resize it
-Then Put text in it using the thing with a big "T".
-Change Colors by using the color thing on bottom or the menu it gives u.
If thats a little complicated just come by My sig shop or Walmart's or Gordans or Blackouts. I'm sure we all would be delighted to create one for you.

That is if you are not editing the image at all and just going for the image-with-some-text look.
There are many tutorials for using a number of different types of graphics design/editing software. Use google.

Wait... Don't set the hight to whatever inches by whatever. Use pixels, not inches to choose a size for the sig. A typical size is 350 by 200. You don't have to have a specific size for the sig, just make it look like an elongated rectangle. squares are generally frowned upon, and vertical rectangles don't work out so well in a forum set up like this.
I've tried to upload my sig to http://imageshack.us/, but the link shows an image in a different size. What am I doing wrong?
