Youtube 2 step verification

Okay, I'm at my wits end. for some reason youtube is now asking for the 2 step verification when I want to upload a video from TF2. I went to my account and turn it off, but that didn't do anything. It is still asking me to turn it off.
So do any one have any idea to help me upload my videos?

I don't think I've ever been asked to verify whether I want to upload a video or not, let alone twice...
When does it happen?

It just appeared yesterday for all of my youtube accounts.

I got it fix. it seems that I cannot use my username to upload videos anymore. i must use my email instead :/
