Ah if you have Battlefield and you got the free CQ DL from E3 I think its 20$ off the origin website anyways. But if you missed it that is a great deal!

I'm Jake, i've been in eGO for quite some time now and i bought this premium edition,

It gave me everything for BF3 that came out with it, including the BF4 Beta once it releases.

I've never played BF before so im looking for some help with the game, im also new to this Orgin thingy my name is qUAD400 though if you wanna add me.

Right now im playing the campaign to get used to the controls and the play style, since its quite different from COD.

I'll see y'all in vent.

Hey Jake I see you are from CoD. So perhaps we should start you off in some TDM or Close Quarters maps. That way you wont have to worry about tanks and planes and can start your focus on guns and how to use them.

You'll want to start with the noob weapons:

-M16A3 (800 rounds per minute)
-AEK-971 (900 rpm)
-M416 (750 rpm)

Attachments should include a forward grip and either the heavy barrel or the flash supresser. At range you'll want a heavy barrel but within 100m a flash supresser is probably better. But that's in TDM style play.

Remember you can only dump about half a mag (at full auto) before these three guns start shooting in wild directions. You may here people talking about how they dumped "a whole mag" into someone and didn't kill them. Well that's because those noobs didn't listen. It's half a mag only. Also don't feel bad if you try other weapons and end up coming back to these. Some noobs never leave these weapons. Those noobs are called "tryhards".

Now one of the very best guns in the game is called the AN-94. It has a 2 round burst fire and if you spam it it'll fire at 1200 RPMs which is faster than any other gun in the game. But you can also use it as a sniper rifle and with the 2 round burst fire it is deadly accurate. It takes a little bit of time to understand how to properly use the AN-94 but if you master it.. it's the destroyer of worlds.

Oh I think support with an mg placed right might be a good way to start off. I started off as engineer though. Get good with the tank. It's your best friend :)
 
w/ the m16a3 and m416 there is no need for a foregrip, w/ the aek u need one. If u can control the recoil then stick w/ a heavy barrel. I would recommend starting with op metro cq-l to get some easy kills->rank up->new guns and gadgets. Then from there pick a gun u like.
On op metro feel free to get creative and gutsy, it will pay off
