you're thoughts on "smart watches"

hey I've been thinking about getting a smart watch whats you're opinion about these watches and if anybody have some recommendations i would love 2 hear them

I kind of want one just to tinker with it, the pebble looks really nice though.

There's a review of it, I heard that it's quite hard to get one though with some best buys only getting 1-3 pebbles and some getting none. An article said that it may have been a marketing strat.. but you never know lol

All in all from what I've read it seems like a really nice accessory for any smartphone.

Though I think Apple might be making a smart watch as well, and as of now the pebble is pretty limited.. but I guess it depends on what you want.

yeah i really would like 2 play around with the pebble to... Sad thing is there only delivering them 2 best buy and i don't know if they deliver 2 Denmark also I've been checking the customer reviews and almost halft of them are bad reviews

they look pretty cool, i like the idea...but my first worry is battery life. who wants a watch that you have to charge everyday, u have ur phone for that.

Get a nice watch that will last you a long time... Smartwatches are in their infancy and they really aren't that good.

that's not to bad! Sounds a lot more reasonable that way but I wonder if it really would last that long...or if it's only if you barely ever use it for anything other than time, you know. I guess we'll see.

Battery will last you 2 weeks if you don't touch it.. hahaha. Just like iphones great battery life until you start touching and using them then down hill we go.

Anyone know if these are waterproof or not?

I like the idea of a smart watch, but i really don't want one more thing to charge every night. I had a casio digital watch last 13 years on one battery, i liked that.
