need some help

Hey guys I just bough a new processor for my computer and it ran great for 2 days. For those 2 days I never shut it down. It ran fine until last night. It just shut down for no reason so I took the cover off and everything was hot( not burning hot) but when I turn it on I get a post and everything. So I retryed installing windows 7 on it and it always freezes on the very last step which is completing the installation.
Can I get some help on what to do( all fans are running correctly)

It could be a hard drive issue.. I know my pc will shut down for no reason in games due to my horrible power supply not being able to supply steady power to my CPU

Well I just got a better power supply and a new motherboard and processor I have tried to reinstall a new windows 7 on 2/3 hard drives I have and it freezes

what are your processor temps if it is over heating it will do the shut down thing

Idk but now when I retry to install windows 7 it won't it just stops and freezes I'll touch the fan for the processor aand see if its hot....and o its not burning hot

Have you even thought of checking the RAM? Take out the ram and see if you can get it to post/run properly without overheating. What are the temps like inside your home? We need lots of more info if you want a clear diagnosis. It sounds like you do not keep your computer in a well ventilated area off of carpet. You should have at least 3-4 fans in any computer case at a bare minimum (IMO.)

I get a fine post and it runs its just right when u get the windows loading screen it freezes up and it is 76 in my house.I always have my room fan on and it gets enough air and I have 6 fans in my computer

Alright I've taken everything and narrowed it down...its not my computer I've tried 3 hard drives and it locks and the same point so it has to be the software

So I looked at my windows 7 disk and there are a few bad scratches so I'm left with plan b and that's to try windows vista...

yea, do windows vista, get a windows 7 download and either make a bootable USB drive or use a software that will run the ISO and just use your key. I did the same when i lost my windows 7 disk
