Black screen

Today i came home and tried starting up my gaming rig, it all went normal till i entered my password the blue twisting circle at the welcome screen was taking a while before moving on. Upon moving on i got a black screen whit a cursos instead of my desktop.
I did system restore to last working point but i didnt help, also i dont got my windows 7 instal disc so i am unsure if i can fix it.

try restarting in safe mode .... It sounds like your video drivers are fragged

I would see if you can start the computer up in safe mode with networking before anything else. To get into safe mode with networking you will need to press F8 on your keyboard immediately after the motherboard, OEM screen disappears and before your Windows logo displays. Once you're at the OS options screen, you will use the arrow keys on your keyboard to select the safe mode with networking option and press enter. If you can enter safe mode try running a scan with a program such as Malwarebytes or your antivirus should it be able to run in safe mode. Also be sure they have the latest updates (which is why we want safe mode with networking so you have internet connectivity). Once you've assured there is no malware in the way of getting your computer to the desktop, we can troubleshoot the OS or hardware on your computer to further determine the issue.
