well if any of you guys would like to help me

my game keeps crashing after each map change and i dont know why!!

any of you have any idea why and how to resolve this??

And this is new? Has anything changed on your end? (ie. new software, new hardware, new drivers, running something in the background, etc.)

well it only started happening when i installed new skins to my game

1. Have you tried uninstalling the new skins?

2. What operating system is this?

3. Is there a specific error message and if so, what is it?

and i am running windows Vista

and i dont know how to unistall skins

It may solve your problem, it may not. (If you have multiple video cards install http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936710/ first)


But yeah, definitely get me a specific error message if it gives one.

Yeah, that's the error I've seen to be associated with a virtual address space issue with Vista and some games.

Try the patch, let me know if it fixes things. If not, we'll go from there.

Aw man, is Mario crashing your game? If you just want to deactivate (and not delete yet) any installed custom content, just go to "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\LOGIN_NAME\team fortress 2\" and change the name of 'tf' folder to something else. It'll create a new folder with all default stuff next time you run the game. That way you can make sure it's your custom stuff causing the problem without deleting them unnecessarily. Don't forget you did this and just leave your old stuff lying in there, not being used, though. I've done that before.

Your game? Yes, it'll crash your game. I thought I had designed it to crash your game whether you installed it or not but I guess I screwed something up...
