Help mic wont work on ego servers!!!

hey my microphone works on all other servers, except imaks when we scrim. i have done the windows 8 test and its fine. but i play in the italy server on css all the time and today my mic just wont work. i go to options and it doesnt even register. in other servers it works great. please help. if i cant communicate then there is a big problem. thanks!!!

did u check if u where muted by some other admin ??

no but i have no idea why id be muted..is there a way to find out? i dont cuss or anything i actually try to regulate the rules.

doubt you got muted by an admin in game since you told us you went to options and it wasn't registering.

yeah it works on some servers but not EGO and a lot of other servers...is there an option im missing somewhere or what..it just happened randomly where it wasnt working.

any suggestions?...maybe uninstalling and reinstalling CSS?

When did this start happening, and does your mic show up in your Recording Devices?

In steam settings is the right input selected?

yesterday morning and yes it does. i am uninstalling and reinstalling css as we speak so ill see if that helps. ill post afterward. thanks
