Some haven't seen one of these on here and wanted to know if any other fellow eGO members played. I would also like to get some help from you guys if you can on my deck. Also yes I am aware it isn't legal at the moment cause of the deck size.

Planeswalker: Jace, memory adept

Enchantments: Endless ranks of the dead

Artifacts: Sands of delirium , Elixir of immortality x2

Sorcerys: Tome scour x2 , Mind sculpt x2 , Traumatize x2

Instants: Murder x4 , Unsummon x2

Creatures: Diregraf captain x4 , Wight of precinct six x2 , Fog bank x2 , Undercity informer x3 , Undead alchemist x3 , Gravecrawler x3

Land: Watery grave x2 , Drowned catacomb x2 , 8 swamps , 8 islands
 
Well you only need 6 more cards to fill out your deck. Legal or not doesn't matter unless you plan on playing in tournaments. With this deck.

What's the goal of the deck? What's the main strategy you hope to use? You have a vast variety of cards, but since for most of them you only have 2 in the deck the chances of using them, and using them in tandem with other cards as a combo (if that's the goal) are slim.

I don't keep up with the newer cards per se, but off the the top of my head for your deck I would add 2 more Unsummons (obviously you're running those for creature control, so you need more), 3 more Endless ranks of the dead (otherwise you'll never use it), then decide which card is the most important to your strategy from Undercity Informer, Undead Alchemist or Gravecrawler and add one more of those. Puts you at 60 and increases the chances of drawing what you need.

Just my initial thoughts. Maybe when I have more time (leave for work soon) I'll look at what each of these cards do, you may want to trim some cards out if they don't fit your strategic objective with the deck...then again I know the feeling of just wanting a card in the deck because it's cool, so really it's up to you!
 
I play, but haven't played in a very long time. I came in about 8th in the last tournament I went too, but that was an Avacyn Restored Draft about 110 people.

Innistrad (until September 27, 2013)

Its been a while and I'm not up to date with the current cards. But I use this http://www.mtgvault.com for deck building/strategies.Your deck seems fairly well rounded I guess your going for a Zombie Draw deck, fairly common. basicly your trying to get your opponent to draw his entire deck and graveyard his best cards while bashing him with your zombies.

Watery Grave isn't needed yes its a dual land put the pay 2 life or tap is kinda annoying, you might as well just go with 4 Drowned Catacombs. 20 Lands is good I usually go 22 because I get screwed alot. lol

Maybe throw in another Sands of Delirium, another grave crawler for support. Another 2 Unsummons, like spitfire'd said. just to keep the field under your control.Over all its a good deck, haven't seen to many blue black since 2012 dropped off the standard list, but yeah I play both MTGO and MTG in person. I prefer in person its more fun.

Best thing to do is finish up your deck and get out there to a Friday night magic or just local card shop and mix it up with some players you don't really get a true feel for your deck until you play alot with it.I dunno how many countless times I thought my deck was amazing and then I took it to a FNM and get completely destroyed by the types of decks you see on mtgvault.

If you truly want to get competitive then I suggest going through the vault and looking for a standard deck that suits you or looks really fun to play. I mostly play draft because you run into the coolest situations and most enjoyable games. "usually"
 
yea I love theme decks. The game is usually so much fun. Its better then playing against someone who combo's you in 1 turn and beats you before you even have a chance to play a second land

I currently have 3 decks

Mono Black Zombie Deck

Red/Black Demon Deck

Mono Green Spider Deck

I had one game that was my spider deck vs a rat deck. The whole game was just a riot and a good time so many jokes were told lol.
 
Glad to see other MTG players here. I have played forYEARS! Started playing about the time invasion came out. I dont know how whoever you play with looks at things. But with my friends anything goes. Other than trying to stick to 60 cards. Were i you I would try to work a few more lands in there and maybe a couple of Zombie Apocalypse and a couple more undead alchemist. With so many cards focusing on getting rid of your opponenets library and keeping them from playing anything wouldnt really focus on any creatures other than ones helping draw from the opponents graveyard. Plus with the endless ranks of the dead and zombie apocalypse you would have an army on hand.
 
I've been playing for a little more than a year, and all my effort has gone to a 'Bipolar Izzet' deck. Centered around ridiculous combos like Niv Mizzet the Firemind and curiousity or enter the infinite, it is EDH ready and either implodes on itself or EXPLODES.

It seems like you're going for a mill deck just basing off the sands and the sorceries. I know NurseCyndaquil irl and he can put togther a pretty mean dmir mill.
In other news, I have 3 decks
1. A deck I really just edited an intro deck, B/B/R/W, Has Nicol Bolas and Nefarox, mostly based around exalt.
2. A black/white Somewhat Orzhov with a combo that puts an "infinite" damage loop on every opponent.
3. A blue white, i dunno, thing. I never use it :p

Magic is really fun! I'm happy to see others here play it as well.

(I'm going to make as many Izzet puns as humanly possible in this thread)
 
Oh i got lots of decks. Have a five color eldrazi deck with all three big boys in it. I have a white/ black angels and demon deck i call unholy union. I have a black/red Dragon deck i call death from above. I have a white/green/blue human deck. And i have a green/black ooze deck. Also for commander play i have a kavu deck.
 
If you are looking for some decent mill, I would look into getting Keening Stone. Pay 5 mana and tap, target player mills x cards. X = number of cards in that players graveyard. Hedron Crab is also a really good 1 mana creature. Landfall effect allows you to mill the top three cards of an opponents deck.

Nah man, Mind Grind ftw, 1 blue, one black, x amount of uncolored, Target player mills until x amount of lands.
 
Ah I love playing MTG! Me and my roommates play until like 5-6 in the morning.
I have a bunch of decks, the few that I am really proud of is my Angel deck, rainbow, black/white, and my blue mill deck. I just built a black deck that has no goal other than constantly harass my opponents. I have like 4 other ontop of that.
I can post my decks if you want? Only two of which are regulation size

If they do bring back Eldrazi might as well as nerf the enitre set.
