Seeding is not a good way for servers to get populated. Seeding is about as good as bot filling (where a server on the list shows 18/32, but when you join all bots leave). The best way is to have active players organize a playtime and join a dead server.

Seeding is not completely about getting servers populated.

Seeding is the act of purposely idling in a server to get it off the empty servers list. What is the empty servers list? Most Counter-Strike: Source players usually have the "hide empty servers" checked when they check the server lists. If our servers are empty, they won't show. If they don't show, many people will not know about our servers.

A simple remedy to that is seeding our servers. People don't necessarily have to join our servers, but just by seeing our =(eGO)= tag or (RECRUITING) might interest them to visit our website.
