I need help with BF3.
Why can't I kill with any of my weapons without having suppression in my loadout?

Be more specific. So, if i were infront of you, point blank, and you emptied your mag onto me.. would you kill me?

Without the suppression no I would empty my weapon into you and then watch as you killed me

At first I thought it was graphics but I am running on medium, anything higher and I dont even get hit markers. I shoot in bursts as that is the way I was trained. As I have played I have noticed without sup it takes an entire clip to kill someone and I miss I am done for. With sup takes like at most half a clip. I also take into account the variables...ie distance, target acquisition time, my sight (which is off)lol....etc

We should all get in server together and test this. Maybe Google search till then?

I'd suggest TDM with some OP weapons, and if that fails, try another server, the hit registration might be off where you play.

Lower your network smoothing factor all the way to the left it gives better hit reg

What anamolies does that cause? I sometimes have similar issues as OP where I shoot a guy at point blank (10m or less) get no hit markers (my aim isn't great but not THAT bad) and get nothing but the guy killing me. I get this on servers where my ping is 27 and on the eGO servers where my ping is 60. I looked at that in game but it stated there would possibly be visual errors so I didn't utilize it. I currently have it set at default (50%).

It works as a client-side interpolation between updates from the server. It smooths out other player model animations by using the last known position, velocity, acceleration, direction, etc. to fill in the animation between updates from the server.

Generally speaking, interpolation isn't needed in ideal conditions, so moving it to the left (minimal interpolation) should provide you with a more accurate depiction of other players' model positions according to the server.

Depending on your internet, your opponent and the server, however, it can create choppy/jumpy visuals. If that occurs, nudge the slider to the right until the game appears smooth again.
