punkbuster kicked me

It stated some thing about a detected driver.I've never been kicked and I don't use anything like macros(mouse dont support them and I wouldn't use them anyway) and dont believe in hacking so no use there.Any reasons?
Sorry it was =(eGO)= #1 All Popular Maps | Votemap | Edge-Gamers.com that I just got kicked from.I'm turning in anyway but will this be a problem?

I have been having the same problems, try updating Punkbuster.

Don't worry iit's probably just some communication issues between your client and punkbuster which is a fairly common problem. It won't ever issue any bans for this if that's what you're worried about.
The only times it does that is if the MD5 values are being tampered with or if it finds graphic card errors that grant unfair advantages (for example prohibited overlays). I think there are some more on the list of banning "conditions" in punkbuster, but i can't really remember them.

Anyways.
Like mentioned above try updating punkbuster, in most cases that helps

I've never gotten kicked for the macaro keys or whatever their called on my keyboard that i use to quickly access some things. I think it may be a punkbuster error. Try copy/pasting the error punkbuster shows you

Originally, it banned for having AutoHotKey running while you were playing. This created a huge outrage because while some used AHK to run scripts like no recoil, it is such a versitle program that it can be used for almost anything and people were getting banned for forgetting to close the program before playing.

The ended up reversing all the bans related to AHK, and now if AHK is running PB will kick you from the server (it might prevent you from rejoining for two minutes, I'm not sure).

There's still a long list of ways to run macros in this game though, many of which cannot be prevented. I have all Logitech hardware, and using the Set Point software for it, I can do everything from adjust dpi, to change keybinds and run macros. My G510 keyboard has 18 G keys to bind keys/macros to, and even a record key to create macros on the fly. Admittedly, these don't allow anywhere near the flexibility of AHK, the macro record key especially (that's more useful for binding Ctrl+Alt+Del to one key). I'll never use a Razer product, but I'm pretty sure there is similar software for their devices as well.

My mouse is the Logitech Anywhere MX Darkfield.The set point software allows some customization but not much.Nor does it support macros to my knowledge.Never heard of Autohot key unless thats what Warkeys (warcraft3) is based off of.BUt as I learn more and more about PC Gaming and PC in general,I realize I have a butt ton more to learn.

Anything that overlays or injects into the game can cause issues with PB. I had an issue where I was being kicked from servers for having the Steam overlay on in (I think, IIRC) COD4.

Make sure programs like FRAPS, NVidia performance overlays, community overlays (Steam & Origin), etc. are closed or disabled. See if that helps. If it does, enable one program at a time until you find the culprit.

Another issue I had, because I develop, was that I always had to ensure that I was not running the dev version of DX whenever playing a PB game.

/edit: Oh, if all else fails, head over to evenbalance.com and submit a ticket to their support staff. They're pretty good at helping you find out what's going on.

custom fan profiles used to do that to me. Usually fixed with a PBupdate.
