CS:GO freezes

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but this problem has been bothering me for a long time and I hope someone would be able to help me.

Sometimes when I play the game the whole game freezes for couple of seconds then it unfreeze.. I tried everything to fix it but it doesn't seem to work.

My GPU is AMD HD 7970 and I kinda blame it for it.

Any ideas of the problem?

You also have more chance to fix your problem by posting there since not everyone is reading posts of other divisions.

Also, if you have skype open while cs:go is in fullscreen windowed mode, then whenever you get a notification, or when somebody comes online, it will freeze while the pop up is visible.

Hmm.. My FPS is pretty good I think but yeah I think it might be Skype, it affects on my controller too, so I will check that.. By the way when it freezes it takes about 10 seconds then the monitor goes black then the game resume.. Could it be my GPU?

I do not know, that doesn't happen when skype interferes with my game, so I don't know about the black screen situation, I'd say ask in the forum that mak posted before, they know more about that stuff than me.
