Best Broadcaster

I have Open Broadcaster and I am trying to find a better one for free.... OBS makes my whole computer lag out.... I tried XSplit but i can only have one resolution on it and its WAY too small.... I wanna know what you guys prefer.... Post in here and let me know

Idk maybe you can look at my specs sometime for me.... it lags my whole comp and makes the games lag way too much for me to play....

try setting the frame rate to a lower setting... this is what I had to do for XSplit. 20 frames per second is what the human eye can see.. less then 20 makes frame stutter, more then 20 just becomes eye-candy... so try 20 fps and go from there.

might be the specs, try not to broadcast at 60fps and 1080p for example lol

Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5700 @ 3.00 GHz

4.00 GB RAM

64-bit OS

HD Radeon 4650 Vid Card

i dont have anything special

If you want OBS specs you will have to wait till sat or sunday cause im gone all weekend

Out of all the programs I have tried, OBS is the best. I have a 20mbit connection and am able stream at 720p (play at 1440p). I get almost no FPS loss.

What resolution are you streaming at?

With x-split i get maybe a 20-30 FPS loss.

Id post my OBS settings but atm am not at my main gaming comp. So i'll just post my comp specs to compare to yours.

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz
Vid Card: 2x Radeon 6870s in Crossfire
RAM: 8GB DDR3
OS: Windows 7

I would have to say it's your pc causing the issue. I went through the XSplit forums and it seems that at a minimum, a quad core cpu is needed/recommended... broadcasting at a lower setting may help. Installing a video capture card would help.

I got a good deal on Newegg, saved on shipping aswell, but still set me back about $1600 for all parts and OS.. I build a new rig with taxes every 3-4 years and in between that time I upgrade as needed/wanted.
