Steam to have every pc game ever

Could be a mixed blessing. On the one hand, sure; being able to pick up hard-to-find games from yesteryear (it cost me $100 to get my Quest For Glory anthology box) is great. On the other, you now have decades' worth, literally hundreds (thousands?) of games to sort through when you're browsing.

And lets face it, there are a LOT of games that should best be left to the mists of time, seen through the rose-colored glasses of nostalgia.

Not quite. With Gametap, you only get access to the content as long as you're a subscriber. With steam, you get it as long as... well as long as steam exists (since you bought it). Does anyone have any idea what Valve would do if Steam went the way of Triton?

Perhaps but it's still worth the year subscription instead of buying each game. I can play them forever for only I think it's 55 bucks a year? Gametap is awesome.

I miss Aces over the Pacific. One of the old airplane games that was bad ass IMO. Bad ass in compared these new ones where they have all the fancy wing flaps and crap.

And, like I said, perhaps valve will provide or give older games for cheaper like 2 bucks or whatever. The only reason I enjoy gametap so much cause of the mere fact some of the newer games such as Jerico is on gametap.
