In my research to build a class A indie game I've been scouring tons of other games for ideas and what went wrong with them.
I thought it important to note one of my major resources *solely because it uses a very old version of the same engine I'm utilizing*

Some links will not work at all... and that's just what happens to older games. But I hope y'all can find some games that fit your taste and enjoy!
I think some of the cooler ones are Afterworld, Legions, Dismantle Repair & Mechanized Assault Vehicle.
I want to note that even NASA took notice in this engine, they bought a license to the engine and produced:
Distributed Observer Network (DON) by NASA
After a lot of gaming I've concluded this game ROCKS: http://www.legionsoverdrive.com/
