Actually, even data in electronic form has mass; assuming the Higgs Bosun does in fact exist. Gravity acts on anything with mass. Weight is merely a measurement of the force gravity is exerting upon mass. Therefore, given the right gravitational source, such as a quantum singularity (or your face), it is indeed possible to accumulate a metric ton of data.*[Disclaimer] as data is weightless, prizes given out do not actually amount to one metric ton
