That is not a result of old drivers. This is always caused by low power, that means one of two things: Your power supply is either not supplying enough power, or that your videocard is taking more than it is supposed to. For example:
If your card has a fan on it to help cool it, but you dont keep up with the dust, and the fan eventually spins once per hour due to it being stuck on clumps of dust, then there is alot of power being wasted in trying to turn that fan and that power is not delivered tot he res tof the card. This will result in that message - and infact, has happened to me personally on my last computer.
Your power supply could also just as easily not being putting out the correct voltage under heavy load with high currents. This could result in the message. Since it is free, why dont you open the case, and check out the dust situation. while it is open, look at the fan while it is on and see how fast it is spinning.
