Guys, I know I am a newcomer, and no I am not quiting such a lovely community. I would love to stay and grow as a TF2 player and become a good player.

I am just keeping you updated that I may not be on much for about a week or more. My mom had chest pains so my dad took her to the hositpel. It was a heart attack, he got her in quick and before anything major happened. They did a little thing shunt thingy. I guess I looked it up and I think it's this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cardiac_shunt or http://www.hydroassoc.org/newsletter/shunt.html

Either way they went up her leg and into her arteries. They were opening them up cause they were blocked. They cleared up one and she is in the clear as far as my dad said. They will clear the other two spots later when she is more stable. So I thought I'd let you guys know so you don't think I disappeared on you all.

See you soon,

Zio.

Very sad to hear that, Zio. Hope she gets better soon, and hope your family's doing alright.

Im very sorry to hear that. Shes in my prayers! Don't worry about being inactive. We will always be here.

I'm glad to hear she got to the hospital before anything major happened. I hope everything goes smoothly for her and your family. Take care of your family first. Lots of thoughts being sent your way!

I'm sorry to hear that, Zio. Tell your Mother that she has the blessing of Thor.

Come back soon, mate!

Indeed but the bad news is, she has what her dad died at a young age(I think 30ish, maybe 40ish since her dad died when she was very young.). HEart degenerate syndrome or wahtever. So she has to be extra careful, but that's fine anyway. We all changed our diets since most of us are rather large.(Me being 6'5" and around 320 pounds. I used to be about 360 till I heard about DDR and started to play singles on standard/heavy and doubles on standard. xD). But yeah.... She'll be in till tuesday. She had one artery closed, the other two were 65%. They cleaned out one, will get the other two.

And thanks guys, yes I know you'll always be here but I like to keep people updated when something goes wrong.

Hmmm..
How old is she?
Does she smoke?
Obese?

Sounds like she might have an atherectomy in her future(or some similar vascular surgery).

You should really press her to start a better diet/exercise at least half an hour a day.

I'm sorry to her what's going on right now but just be sure and spend time around her and let her know you're there for her.

Best of luck to you!

49, yes, and I think so.

Regardless, in her side of the family it is common to have heart degenerate disorder it seems.

Second, I've had a good friend who was 150 pounds, 5'8" and not obese. Someone who works out all the time. Died from jogging. It matters not in this crazy world.

eog, we all have been cutting back and excerising. Though I do it alone due to the fact I enjoy it more so by myself. Working out, DDR and jogging.

How did your diets change?
[/quote1196476730]

Cut back on obvious fats, saturated fats and etc. Cut out hydrogenerated(sp?) oils, cut out soda. I mean we pretty much cut out the obvious signs. We still ate meat, we still ate normally. We just cut out or cut down on the really big sugar/fats and bad foods.

Does your mom like to dance? do they have oldies on DDR? make it fun for her if she has problems getting into a regimen. if i could go back now and do something like that with my mom id do it in a heartbeat.
