Don't know about the rest of you, but, fedex has lost a customer here, one of my comp parts was to be delivered to my house, instead fedex has sent it to of all places ...the United states postal service, which means instead of having a comp this week I must now wait until snail mail brings my part.
Fedex recieved a lengthy letter from me yesterday, they have been informed that this package is the last they will deliver to this residence (since it didn't make it here) and I may refuse payment for said delivery for my house is not at the postal service.

Actually I've heard that Fedex will do that to make it cheaper for them and just have USPS send it to your house. And I'd be pretty mad as well if it made the shipping time even longer but if it was still in the estimated range, ehh. Anyway, waiting for parts sucks, hopefully USPS doesn't take too long.

Wait.. you have to go get your package? They wont bring it to your house?

if it is a small package ups does the samething

I've had money small fedex packages come via the USPS. UPS cant seem to deliver a 2 day package in less than 5. and Lasership can ship something from NY to my house in less that 2 days :|

For me, estimated delivery was on whatever date, I checked tracking for that day while I was home, stated there was no one home, will deliver next business day.

I was in my house, dude!

I have CCTV on my property. I go roll back the video. Guy pulls up, sits in his van on the street for about 45 seconds, then pulls away. Ohhh wait. It was raining. So.

Then there is this, but they all do it...

It's called FedEx smartpost... it's a cheaper solution to FedEx's flagship delivery service. UPS does the same thing, it's called UPS mail innovations. Online stores often send packages using FedEx SmartPost or UPS Mail Innovations to save on shipping costs, especially if the shipping speed you ordered is rather slow. (I know Amazon uses SmartPost on Free Super Saver Shipping a lot)

Not sure where the complaint is.

Whenever i get RMAed earbuds back, a small book, lightweight items, etc it usually goes from UPS to the USPS. The only exception is when the company i get something from sends it in a packaged box to UPS for delivery

Those drivers make a good living too. Lots of pressure, but they tend to make the $$$ to make the pressure worthwhile. If I had video of someone pulling up, sitting, and driving away without ever leaving their truck I'd be demanding that someone go back to work making French fries before they trust him with another truck.

Like I told a judge last week, "if the job is too much for you, maybe you should get another job." Scariest moment in court I've ever had, but he understood.

Papa

And to make matters worse...the mobo has to be RMA'd...it is what it is....sigh

This. Slow delivery service is slow. I understand how infuriating it can be when a packed arrives at the local hub one day, USPS the next day, and your house on the third, but unless you shell out for shipping this is how it gets done more often than not with small packages.

Nah, the Cartel would give it's customers better service.
