BF3 won't start/error messages

I keep getting DirectX error messages when trying to join a game in BF3. I also get errors saying "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." My graphics drivers are up to date. :facewall: Please help. If you need more info just say so, thanks.

Is your video card fan spinning and free of dust?

Yep, as a matter of fact, I took the card out completely a few minutes ago and attacked it with air duster. I tried joining a game, but then screen went black and then said "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Nope, I think I fixed it. It appears to have been an Nvidia driver issue.

Hmm, I guess it fixed it for awhile, but I tried joining another server and it happened again. :facewall:

Wasn't there a problem with the newer nvidia drivers? Assuming you have an nvidia card, try rolling the drivers back. I think the last stable one was like 314.?? or something. I'll check and edit this post if I find it...

I went back to 320.18. It worked for awhile, but when I tried joining another one of our servers I got the same error messages.
