Hey guys I got a little issue I was hoping someone could help out with. My laptop was running fine last night woke up this morning and I can't connect to the internet. Seems like my laptop stopped recognizing my wireless adapter over night =/. It doesn't show up on my Device Manager and If I go into internet options>set up a new connection, I only get a DSL option and a Dial-up option, nothing to do with wireless. Any help would be much appreciated. Win7 64bit Acer laptop.

Have you tried restarting, and then seeing if anything appears in Device Manager, even if it's under "Unknown Device"? If it appears try completely uninstalling the driver/device and then restarting. If the device doesn't appear after a restart, there could be something seriously wrong with either your Windows installation or your laptop.
The issue appears to lie with his wireless adapter, not his router.
Thanks, worked like a charm. Feel foolish cuz that should've been the first thing I tried but in the last 3 years of owning my laptop this has never happened to me so I immediately thought the worst for my adapter.
