The Orange County Water District has used half a billion dollars over the past 4+ years building a filtration system that reclaims sewer water (aka "Poopy Water" or toilet water) and sends it through a series of filters, UV light, etc to destroy all bacteria, protozoans, and other unwanted things from the "Poopy Water", turning it into a ultra pure water, so pure that it needs to sit in the other reservoirs to absorb the good things in our tap water, and then is sent through the pipes and into the homes of Orange County residents.

Actually to be all honest, any evaporated or filtered water is good enough to drink. To be honest, what would save us MILLIONS or even tons of water would be to filter the water and then resend it through the system instead of dumping the clean, pure and filtered water back into the lake.(I live in south east Wisconsin mind you.)

Sigh, poor California. We up here in Ohio have been drinking filtered sewage water for years, infact, I'm sure most of the country has.

You all drink "Poopy Water" anyways no matter where you live or where it comes from. Trust me, those of us in the Navy have been pumping our turds into the ocean for 232 years.
