Hey everybody,

Today is it. 6 years ago today I logged into our website and created my application. I had probably been playing on our 24/7 kalt server for a month or two at that point. I was dead set against joining any clans, but this one won me over because of the warmth and friendliness on the server. I thought "why not," and put in my app.

Since that day, this "clan" has become so much more. This isn't a clan, it's a community. It is among the best you can find on the internet. Even if I am not nearly as active in game as I was years ago I still visit this website, almost once per day.

One of my favorite things about the community right now is even though we only have so many divisions, it's really easy to find people playing the same games as you outside of the divisions. There's a vast selection out there but you can always find at least one person from the group to enjoy any given game out there.

Silly as it might sound, one of my favorite moments was writing a thread about my favorite SNES games, then logging in to see it featured on the front page.

It's my continued pleasure and honor to continue as a part of this community, and I want to thank each and every one of you (regardless of rank) who take part daily in doing what it takes to make our community incredible, family friendly, and fun. Whether in our servers, in Ventrilo, or on our website, keep up the great work.

Congratulations Spitfire'd! You've have a great 6 years dude.

Spitfire,

Sometimes I think what eGO is missing are the "older" members(for lack of a better word I can think of). I have fond memories of playing with great people who were around when eGO was just getting started. Aside from my personality traits, I made it my mission to do things in the spirit of old. Whether that means taking someone aside and giving the the old "Flufferesque" yelling or disciplining someone in server like Goomba taught me. You have always reminded me of the best attributes of old-school eGO members that you don't see too often-- not how well behaved you (and most members are) but how you carry yourself.

Congrats, you're a credit to the force, and here's to another six years!

Congratulations on your 6 years, it's great to see members like you still around :) Like Stormy said, I still remember amazing times I have had with old members and the old eGO but it's great to see things change and myself coming back to it, it's an amazing feeling looking back at all the memories.

Not many people can say they've been here for 6 years, great work dude.
