I've been playing this new (officially released on August 27th), in fact VERY new MMORPG. So far, it's been more interesting than WoW, or SWTOR, and even DOTA2 for me. It has a true main storyline (that everyone shares), you can switch between classes at any point in the game (after your lvl. 10 class quest) and still be on your main character.

Having said that, I've bought the pre-order package so I've been playing it for three days now. And I've thought to myself, "Why not get some people from eGO to play this game?" And that's why I'm here.

I want some people from eGO to start playing Final Fantasy XIV, it's avaliable for both PC and PS3, and it's easy to learn mechanics make it fun to play from the start.

Within the next 2 days I'm going to be able to create a Guild (known as a Free Company in the game) that will have the name eGO.

If you wish to join me and experience it for yourself, here is some info you WILL NEED.
1.) The eGO Guild will be located on the Japanese Anima Server, or for easy searching. Group JP, Server Anima
2.) My character name is not my eGO name. Instead it is Claire Takanishi.
3.) It is only on the Japanese Server because the North American & European Servers are almost always full.
4.) When you do get online (if you choose to do so), I will be in the Misc Gaming Section of Ventrilo.

My Character is a Level 25 Archer, Level 10 Conjurer, Level 8 Leatherworker, Level 7 Blacksmith, Level 4 Carpenter, and a Level 9 Miner. (You can have every class on one character)

Anyway, thanks for taking this into consideration. And I'll see you on Eorzea!

As soon as they allow you to change servers, go ahead and join. We need at least 4 people though... But, hopefully many eGO members will invest even a few hours a week in order to make this a truly grand and fun new section of the EdgeGamers sphere of influence & community (Why do I sound so official? What's happening to me???).

I was a beta tester on ps3, count me in once I get money for the game (end of week possibly).
btw, did the random blackouts get fixed? I would be playing and the screen went black with only the HUD being visible.

I will be joining in on the fun soon. I was part of the beta, and I loved it. But first, I must focus on my Calculus class, it's a doozie. I'll be in the game by November.

I believe they fixed that problem in Beta Phase 4. I haven't heard anyone griping about it anymore.

Just throwing this out there.

But don't you need Leadership approval before first creating a guild?

I rolled an alt character on the server today, I'll send you a friend request the next time I log on.

When Transfers are up I'll definitely look into it. I've already got two mid-level chars (30ish) on two different servers lol. We'll see what happens here!

I personally wouldn't play on a JP server. I did at first so I could actually get on but it was super annoying not seeing anyone on during the day and at night it was more annoying see a crowd of squiggles I didn't understand. When I finally was able to make a character on a NA server it was much better. Was able to team up on some harder missions and quest and etc. It also lets you expand out and recruit people outside of eGO into the Free Company and get more people into eGO from the game. That is if eGO ever deiced to support FFXIV, which I could see happening IF Square decided to advertise this game a little more to get more NAs involved. Last I checked of the 200,000 people playing about 130,000 of them are JP and the other 70,000 is a mix of NA/EU/FR/GE which is BAD.

Me messing around with Smithing on the NA server when I got to it. Yes, I made a girl but she is pretty. <3
