So I've got a headset that I've tried using with my computer. After going through the configuration for my mic, it either 1) doesn't read the input, or 2) causes a massive echo. I thought it might be the hardware, so I picked up the one my parents used to see it that changed anything. It didn't. So I've got to think it has something to do with the computer itself, and hopefully something software so I can fix it relatively easily. So would anyone know how I might could fix this?
My audio driver is "Realtek High Definition Audio" version 5.10.0.5506
I know my mics work on my laptop, but I can't get TF2 to run on it, so I need to find out what's needed for this one.
