Hey guys

when i was younger back in 2009 i use to play no stop but these days i just can't stand playing games anymore is it because the people i use to play with stopped or what?

Sounds to me like you have simply burned yourself out on gaming, or the stuff you usually play just doesn't cut it now. Try a new genre, or find an outdoor activity.

working is my outdoor activity xD and besides i live in the country and i got no friends out here so yeah :/

I went through the same thing. I played DoD back in 2007 up until 2009 then stopped because I did not enjoy it anymore. I just started playing again a few months ago and fell in love with the game again. Its normal to get burnt out on a specific thing. The best thing to do is just take a break and pick up a new hobby/interest and then later on start playing again.

Only you can really say what the issue is, but I would just suggest doing something else. Pick up a hobby or maybe learn to do something new like, idk, play the piano. *shrug*
When I get bored of video games (which I do often), I just use the extra time to strengthen my other, more practical skills.

...or I just stare at the awesome gif in my signature for hours....

I'm kinda feeling like that right now, breaks tend to help I guess. Definitely try new games, I got tired of TF2.. tried DoD.. and that was fun for awhile... tried everything except Minecraft and ended back in TF2. being in a community you might meet new people to play with...lol im having a hard time since I get frustrated too easily.

Try a new game. It's hard to simply play the same game over and over and find joy in it. eGO supports a ton of games and there are still a ton more out there that others might play. One of the main reasons I'm in a "gaming community".

You know, it's the weirdest thing I'm in a similar boat. I gamed a ton through high school and college and even after college a lot. It's a part of who I am, console, PC, handhelds, all that good stuff.

In the last year or so though I've changed and I can't explain it. Among other things work keeps me really busy and if I have time I'll maybe sit down for an hour, more than that is uncommon. If I play for more than an hour or two I have to stop because I feel like I should be doing something else. It's the weirdest feeling.

If I play with friends I can play longer without feeling that, but anything single player or even online with strangers after an hour, maybe two, I have to stop and do something else.

I can't explain it. I think I'm getting old. I still love to play, it's just different now.

WE ARE IN THE VERY SAME BOAT!!! :(
Except I never went to college xD

I LOVE gaming. I have spent the better part of the last 19 years of my life playing them.

My gaming time however over the last two years has several declined, simply, solely, because I took up drinking and would hang out with friends after work or on days off, time I usually spent gaming.

I miss gaming, a lot. But I cannot devote the time I want to, because of other commitments. Man I love gaming.

Yea I got bored of gaming in April I didnt play games from April to August Basically all summer for me. I Started riding dirt bikes which I use to do when I was littler. I started playing with RC Cars. But to far to race RC Cars so I kinda gave up on that. Then i got into Biking riding BMX Bike's Traded a computer part for a really nice Bike then I ended up selling the bike for 400 dollars. Had the bike for a good 2 months enjoyed BMXing didnt know much people around me That BMX so I gave that up. Bought a new graphics Card and now Im back to gaming. Now I wanna game but also wanna take up going to the gym whenever I can as I am 17 and don't yet have my Drivers Licenses.

As the eGO physician and a practicing (semi-legal) Gaming Medical Doctor I have seen these symptoms before. In my profession we call what you have DFG or (Disassociated Gaming Fatigue). I'm here to tell you that DGF is 100% treatable and with some Game oriented therapy we can get you back into your gaming chair. I can also tell you that your prognosis is good as I have a 26% success rate. 60% of the time, it works every time.
I would advise that you take a few days to enjoy the finer things in life such as; long walks on the beach, reading poetry, skiing on the Alps, and finding your love for butterflies.
If that doesn't work, there is nothing more I can do for you.

Maybe you need new games? Or change up your gaming schedule?
