eGO Resigns Call of Duty

<div style="width: 500px; text-align: center" align="center">eGO has decided to close our Call of Duty Division due to dwindling support from members and the CoD community. It was a tough call, with weeks of discussion at the highest levels. In the end, the difficult decision had to be made.

Each division takes a significant amount of resources to maintain the great gaming experience we want our members to have. We do our best to provide those resources for games our community is interested in playing, and even gamble with others in the hopes that we can generate some interest.

With that in mind, we will be looking to support Call of Duty: Ghosts, when it launches in mid-November, with a server and forum space. That is, if the developers follow through with their promise of dedicated servers.

We've asked DarkRaven and whoflungpooatwho to remain as Advisors while we figure out the details of how to proceed with Ghosts. All other COD leadership has been stepped down with our sincere thanks for doing their best to keep the division afloat.

Sadness. I came into eGO with CoD4. But as time went on my interest in CoD just fell off dramatically.

Even though I'm not a huge cod fan, that sucks to hear, for all the people who called that division home.

This is still hurting me inside! I left in May with my new born son that was put in the nicu unit, had to put all my time with him to get him better. I come back and almost threw my computer away. I've been in a few different clans BUT eGO was the only place I called home. So many people that I have met and became friends with made it even better! The structure of eGO is what drew me in. I will be waiting to hear if they keep their promise of dedicated servers. Until then I'll miss all of you guys/gals dearly!! R.i.P CoD!
