How can i restart a download

Hello all, this is my problem, i was downloading TF2 yesterday and i was in 6.5 gb of 6.7 i paused it and i close steam then i turn off my pc, and today i restart the download and it was in 287.7 mb, so can i restart the download to 6.5 or i have to download it again ? please help me

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this has happened to me before and I had to redownload it again, I do not know of any other way to restart the download.

my guess it was most likely corrupted and had to restart the dl. this happens to me from time to time x.x:facewall:

Yeah, but i'll not download it anymore, this is really frustrating.

Let it run overnight if you are unable to do so in the day.
